1. Information we collect

We collect the information you provide when creating an account — your name, email address and billing details — along with usage data such as the models you use and the features you interact with. Payment information is processed securely by our payment partners and never stored on our servers.

2. How we use your information

Your information is used to operate and improve Layer, personalise your experience, process payments in Indian Rupees (INR), and send essential service communications. We never sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Your conversations

Conversations are encrypted in transit and at rest. By contract with every model provider, your prompts and outputs are excluded from model training. You can delete your conversation history at any time from your dashboard.

4. Data retention & deletion

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated personal data is permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
